While Biden may fairly get dinged for things he failed to do, like


failing to anticipate a highly contagious variant that would evade vaccines when it comes to infection and ramp up testing in preparation, or failing to properly estimate the stupidity and willingness of the cult to refuse the vaccine and die for their cause. But he didn't actively work to make the pandemic worse by trying to convince everyone that covid was no big deal, that it was just like the flu, or that it would disappear causing a 1/3 of our population to not take covid seriously, to claim it was a hoax to get trump, and to fight against efforts to mitigate the spread. He didn't mock mask usage and hold huge indoor, maskless super spreader events himself in the fall as cases were surging (pre-vaccine when social distancing and masks were the only tool to combat the spread of covid). So yeah, Biden could play solitaire in his office 24x7 and he would be doing better than his predecessor by virtue of not working to make things worse.
