Or that political leaders on both sides of the aisle miscalculated the severity and transmissibility of the virus as they paraded through Chinatown in San Francisco and in New York.

What President Trump did accomplish was to incentivize the unprecedented discovery and production of vaccines and therapies to fight the virus which traditionally required years to develop. These vaccines are the same drugs that Biden and Harris downplayed and disparaged during the campaign as “Trump vaccines” and are now using the fact that those who choose not to vaccinate for a variety of reasons are the sole reason for the continuation of this pandemic. Trump engaged industry to redirect their facilities to produce an enormous amount of ventilators and masks in a short period of time to meet an immediate demand surge. While Trump encouraged the production and wide distribution of monoclonal antibody therapies, one of which remains effective in treating the Omicron variant, the Biden Administration made no effort to increase production and is now rationing the GlaxoSmithKline therapy which works.

The Biden Administration has disregarded vaccine requirements for the 2 million+ US border encounters while relying on NGO’s to provide services as they deem necessary and ignoring the potential infection transmissibility of the estimated hundreds of thousands of got-aways largely entering from lower vaccination rate countries.

Biden was elected by a large block of voters who believed him when he promised to shutdown the virus. As it turns out, he has done nothing but distribute vaccines developed as a result of Trump’s Operation Warp Speed, created more divisiveness and rancor toward a large portion of the nation who object to receiving the vaccines for a variety of reasons, dismissed the need for wide scale production and distribution of effective testing and therapies and completely ignored the influence of natural immunity as a tool for determining the need for additional vaccinations. He can no longer blame the previous Administration for his colossal failure.
