I was 37 when my first son was born. Second son came along 17 months
later. They're now 15 and 14.
With respect to posting style, I'll admit I've become an asshole on this board lately. But honestly, I
don't think would mock POLICY viewpoints that aren't mine. I can understand people not agreeing with BBB, as an example. Hell, I'm indifferent on it at best. Or people thinking we should cut taxes, or raise taxes. Now, people that want college to be free for everyone are dopes, and I might tell them that, but I don't think I'd really even mock that viewpoint, I'd just point out why I think it's a bad idea.
I just don't know how to have a reasoned disagreement with someone who thinks it's OK for a president to lie non stop about a stolen election, or to attack his VP while he is being evacuated by secret service, or to strategize with his inner circle on how to delay the certification of election results and throw "disputed" states to the state legislators to appoint electors. And regardless of whether you think the outcome would be different, you can't honestly argue that Trump's "leadership" during the pandemic wasn't chaotic at best. I think Trump is just such a monumentally incompetent and dangerous jackass, that I can't fathom anyone supporting him after the last 2 year shit show. Maybe it's "derangement", but I think I have pretty clear eyed reasons for my disdain for Trump. My lack of patience for Trump supporters probably has some elements of derangement to it. But I've never had a lot of patience in life. [Post edited by BocaHoo91 at 01/06/2022 10:47PM]
