I agree with every word in your post, except the word “next”.

“Next” will be more of the same. Some bullshit distraction from the real issue of Jan 6, which is that it was clearly the culmination of an attempt to steal the election, predicated on the mind-numbingly unAmerican concept that the #2 guy in the admin which lost and ran around for months baselessly claiming fraud can simply overturn the election his admin lost. Just on his own say-so.

No wonder so many of these people think Vlad Putin’s a genius. They desperately want this country to become modern day Russia, with Trump playing Pootey and Pence playing Medvedev. Credit where due, Pence at least didn’t want any part of that.

So, yeah, the next post from a Trump cult acolyte like JM will be more of the same - splitting hairs to excuse the inexcusable, and distract from the real overarching point. Which was an attempt to destroy the country.
