Not sure anything I said in this thread prior to this in any way conflicts

with my post in which I "came back to reality".

It feels like you're just arguing to argue.

We know at least 14 states will pass abortion restrictions that will not align with your views, and I'd be willing to place a bet ($100 to charity of the others choosing) that at least another 6-8 (let's call it 8) states will also pass laws outlawing all abortions at any term with exceptions to save the life of the mother if Roe is overturned. That would put us at 44% of states outlawing all abortions except in the case of the mother's health. That feels pretty backwards to me, and is also in line with much of the middle east and Africa.
