Not government-mandated?...

Uh, yeah, they are. All three examples I gave -- travel rules, health codes and my wife's volunteer situation -- are related to government mandates. Ditto for vaccine requirements that have reduced the labor supply as people left the workforce.

But even if they weren't government-mandated, they effectively are due to the politicized and/or insane CDC and other health departments, so it's the same thing. I have said from day one of COVID that we will never return to normal until businesses and entities are given full legal immunity from COVID claims because, until they have that, their lawyers and insurance companies are going to force them the maintain the theater. And here we are.

I'll decline to comment on the rest, but appreciate your thoughts.
