abandon their nuclear weapon ambitions remain in place.

First and foremost, trusting a party controlled by a regime such as the Islamic Republic of Iran which calls for the elimination of the existence of another sovereign nation and is the world’s largest sponsor of terrorism by not only its own military but its known terrorist proxy organizations is a flawed concept.

Prior attempts to negotiate with Iran recklessly disregarded the many ways in which Iran could continue building a nuclear weapons program while at the same time lifted key sanctions allowing them to refinance their military strength. Examples of the agreement’s deeply flawed terms included sunset provisions which allowed Iran to expand uranium enrichment after 2025 and scale up to industrial capacity by 2030, continued expansion of their existing massive ballistic missile capability( i.e. the delivery vehicle for a nuclear weapon), restricting access to inspect key Iranian military facilities by the IAEA unless planned in advance and discovery of hidden prior Iranian nuclear weapon development activity which was required to be disclosed but only exposed as a result of Israel’s espionage efforts.

Appeasing and enriching, either directly or indirectly, a regime that approaches negotiations in bad faith while deluding ourselves into believing any resulting agreement would enhance peace and safety is an extremely dangerous pursuit.
