Absolutely agree with Boca here. Problem is we don't educate enough..


....software engineers here in the states.

Or potentially, if we are, we are allowing too many foreigners into our schools, who are taking up space in engineering programs for our own students. That part I do not know.

K-12 needs to do more to meet the needs of those kids who know they want to program, and do so at an earlier age. Here in Richmond, they just started a regional coding school for 9-12. Kids will get the usual taste of generic 9-12 education...but the opportunity to really get into coding.
