I like to think one reason we don't get hit that much was because people living a decent life typically don't do anything that would affect that way of life. But seems like this and the SB shooter were both middle class, western educated, yet something cracked them and for them to pick on soft targets to attack, which is virtually impossible to guard against. I can only guess those are type of people that w/out ISIS or other radical Islamic indoctrination are still mentally unstable and dissatisfy with their life and likely to snap to do some other crazy things. Hopefully, they are only a very small percentage of population.
