Your comment "why even go there" is interesting.

You think the problem of "going there" is hiring attorney's who have donated to Democrats in the past.

I think the problem of "going there" is believing these people can't be fair because they have donated to Democrats in the past. Your view is just so tainted in partisanship and spin. Let me give you an example.

There is a person involved in this investigation who has donated heavily to Democratic candidates in the past. This person donated money to Clinton in 2002, 2005, 2006, and 2007. They have donated over $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation. They even invited the Clinton's to their wedding. Is this person so tainted that they never could be fair against Trump? Should this person completely recuse themselves from the investigation? Guess who this person is...

My point is that campaign contributions do not tell you a ton about a person, especially not if they are going to break the norms of their roles to be a neutral investigator. The people who Mueller has hired seem to be public servants to me. Their individual histories reflect this.

In terms of me being delusional, again, I did not protest when a Republican was appointed to lead the investigation. I also would be happy with a lot of Republican AUSAs to be appointed. I think they are public servants.

Lastly, I think the allegation of "thousands year-after-year" is factually inaccurate except to all but one of the attorney hires. Of the five hired, I think that two have no FEC records and two others have pretty limited FEC records in favor of Democrats.
