So much for the myth that he had his gun trained on him the whole time...

Looks like he even reached his hand in to stop (what he perceived to be) Castille trying to pull the gun out before even getting his out of the holster.

Since we like post event facts so much on this board....he was clearly in distress afterwards and hated he had to react like that.

Sad situation.
