But don't you see that this is a policy based argument? You don't like the


state policy (perhaps with good reason) and thus it should be criminal.

But if you actually believe in federalism and the sovereignity of the states, you will support their right to make their own decisions. The real test to see if someone actually believes in federalism is to see if they believe in states rights when it is applied to a policy they disagree with.
