That would be the best type of district!


In the real world 50 0.1% of the group wouldn't always vote for the single party. roughly a third would always vote Republican regardless and roughly a third would always vote Democrat regardless. The remaining Independents, moderates, wafflers, and undecideds would all be swing votes every single election. Candidates of all stripes would have to figure out how to appeal to that middle third, and extreme positions of any ideology would seldom hold sway.
