Note I wasn’t replying to you but since you asked

I actually know an old farmer whose neighbor called a regulating agency because he was ....... cutting cattails behind his shed. He cuts them every now and then to keep that area clear for equipment to get by. They told him he’d need an environmental impact statement next time. I could give you many more examples of wetland or dry channels being regulated in the middle of nowhere, much on private property, that had never been before because thy weren’t considered a water of the US until recently. Much of this nonsense does hinder economic growth. Need to find a balance. People see Pruitt as a villain because they want or need to.
