It reminds you of Sessions testifying before Congress, with fellow repubs demanding that he prosecute Hill until he finally was at his wits' end, and had to actually remind them that there needs to be evidence in order to prosecute someone. Even Hillary.

Whatever the case turns out to be with Trump, and Cohen, and all this stuff, it's a just a sordid, unseemly affair, and I think repubs are wondering how to deal. They have midterms coming up, and they'd be dumb not to be concerned. So they just want to see if they can generate as much noise as possible, and spread the stink to their dem opponents.

Because, you know, without their prodding Sessions would never look into these dem demons - he's a disguised dem partisan. The Trumpie set certainly believes in innocent until proven guilty for Trump. But Hill for one is guilty just for being Hill. No more evidence needed. And Comey too now that he's about to make some scratch by dissing His Orangeness. These are all Trump Twitter targets - his tweets appear to be enough evidence for them.
