In other words, you'll just say "I refuse to believe anything that runs
counter to my politics!" Which does make you a perfect candidate to continue to use the phrase "fake news."
It is not "fake news" that virtually every American intel organization disagrees with you. Repubs like Graham and McCain, who I don't think were all broken up that Hill lost, know the intel and wholeheartedly disagree with you. So, what, it's the evil Deep State or something?
This doesn't make it a current "fact" that all or most of these things happened (intel agencies can be wrong, however unlikely in this case given their consensus). And it certainly doesn't mean that you, Trump, or anyone else has to believe that Russian interference is the reason Hill lost. I believe Hill lost because of Hill. And also because Trump's effectiveness as a campaigner and self-promoter. And I believe no "collusion" with the Trump campaign occurred, and will continue to believe that until I see real tangible evidence to the contrary, which I don't expect.
But the existence of evidence of unprecedented Russian interference is real. It's not that they never would have tried before; it's that they have brand new tools never before available (like social media).
In your case, I think its fine for you to continue calling it "fake news", because you are using that phrase properly - it means "something I don't want to believe".
