At some point supporting and defending racist statements and policies on a consistent basis is racism personified. I don't say it lightly and it has taken me two years to arrive at this point. Not many years ago, it was a universal notion that one American despite ethnic or national descent was considered just as worthy of the name as any other. THAT has been called into question by a US president and it is done on the basis of race. That proposition clearly is not only acceptable to a certain part of the population, it is encouraged.
