SIR: Pretty perfectly describes why I’ve left the GOP even though I still


consider myself a center-righty. I used to be a right winger because lefties were “feelers“ and we were “thinkers.” But the GOP has become the party of anti-science and alternative facts. I’ll still vote for Republicans where appropriate down ballot, but short of voting for Bernie, I’ll do what I need to do to hasten the re-birth of a conservative party not made in Donald Trump’s image.
