Two Disagreements.


1) Bern has plenty of relevance in the democratic party. He is the frontrunner. He has the dem party shaking in its boots. Not unlike Trump with the repubs 4 years ago.

2) Trump had no hold over the republican party until he did. Nobody thought he'd win the nomination either. If the bern wins the nomination, my guess is the democratic party will be Bern's. If he wins the general, which I doubt, but so did I doubt Trump's win, then let's revisit your view of the how far that control goes in the dem party three years hence.

That's actually the point of my post - that I hope the democratic party doesn't start down the populist path with Bern that the republican party traveled with Trump starting 4 years ago.
