Bern/Trump choice. This week I fear the odds of that went up. But I don't get how you intend to help bring about that change on the right if bern's the nominee. You'd vote for Trump, solidifying him as the "spiritual" leader of the repub party?

I don't think it matters where I vote in ny, or in SC for that matter. My electoral votes are blue, yours are red. Not up for grabs. So maybe I can add my vote to a third party to vote against populism, although I've been promising not to do that this year. I did that in '12.

The one positive of a second Trump term - he's doing things economically, both with his deficits so late in a recovery, and with his daisy cutter approach to regulation, that might look good in the numbers near term, but may well have consequences longer term. He could be forced to own those consequences if he wins.
