Always is. Same goes for Boomers -- some say 46, some 48, some say it

goes all the way to 1965 while others say 61 (one of the reasons, along with his personality type, values and style, some called Obama a Gen X president).

Generational stereotypes get tricky in this regard. Someone born in 1946 probably has very little in common with someone born in 1959. One grew up in the turbulence of the Civil Rights era and Vietnam; the other in a long run of peace and prosperity where the biggest challenge was getting hold of Aerosmith tickets.

Same goes for someone born in the mid 60s to someone born in the early 80s, especially in terms of Cold War mentality, tech savvy, etc. Some "sub" generations have been identified like Gen Jones and Xennial. Fascinating stuff, really.
