Some people are. But to me it seems counterproductive to make it


more expensive for businesses to hire people with limited skills. That's why Faz's idea of making it more of a societal burden than a business burden to provide a minimum level of earnings through the EITC makes more sense. Driving the cost of those jobs up for businesses reduces those jobs either through businesses finding ways to make do without them, or through automation.
