Automation Town is coming regardless


Self-order kiosks at McDonalds are already a thing.

People losing ordinary blue collar jobs to robots are finding themselves shoved down to the WalMart/McDonalds level of employment already. That's part of where the push for a higher minimum wage comes from.

Robots will only become more capable (gobbling up jobs as they move up the employment food chain) and cheaper to produce (doing the same moving down it)

A living wage is yesterday's solution. It will not help.
