Actually I'm too cheap to support the "failing" NYT, so I couldn't read it.
When did I ever say they shouldn't be scrutinized? That's another one of the games you like to play - asking a loaded and irrelevant question, while conveniently ignoring the questions I actually posed. The SEC, DOJ and possibly the Senate ethics committee would seem like the appropriate places for that scrutiny. I'm only suggesting that you might not want to hold your breath waiting for anything worthy of scrutiny being found. And WADR, I'm sorry but saying it should be "tried in the court of public opinion" may be the dumbest thing I've seen in this thread. Look at all the intelligent people here already jumping to idiotic conclusions. Because they desperately want their beliefs validated, or push a disingenuous partisan narrative. You yourself, despite being in the industry, went off about two things that couldn't possibly be even relevant.
