Really? Did you even read the thread? I even said they were ...
operating in a gray area. I literally said that will be be hard to prove a felony occurred. That implies the DOJ/SEC will find it hard to bring charges. That's why I brought up the SAC trader story. However, the optics looks terrible and ethically challenged. They should be scrutinized.
Loeffler is serving on an elected seat. Isn't an election the ultimate court of public opinion? Why would that be "dumbest thing you ever read?" You do know she is running in 2020. Did you actually think it should be decided on an public message board? LOL.
This is your problem. You jump into the middle of a conversation without reading the entire thread. I said they were operating in a gray area (or it would be hard to prove), but the optics are terrible. If you read the NYT, you'd know they sold shares right after their Senate briefing. The OP alludes to it in the 2nd half of the article.
Moneyshot and I agreed at the end. It was a pleasant back and forth. However, for some reason, you come in flying with your half baked hot take. Not every poster is out to get each other. You need to settle down. My opinion is not much different from his if you actually read the thread.
