I read an article yesterday whose thesis that Trump's (lack of coherent)

ag policy is crucifying Ernst in Iowa.

Now, to be sure, the ag economy is paying a big price under Trump, and I think the column may be right. Basically, ag energy and fossil fuel energy are at loggerheads with both suffering greatly. Trump, in the view of the article, has sided with oil (Texas is bigger than Iowa after all), and the corporate corn and bean producers are pissed off.
