So a couple of responses. First I was responding specifically to your


Post where are you were trying to make a pretty direct correlation between two data points, two points in time. The fact that results lag test make that a highly flawed argument don’t you think. Most of the positive test results recorded on those two days came from test taken previously, some the day before some more than a week before.
Now I certainly agree that we’re testing magnitudes more people today than we werethree months ago, and naturally we are finding more cases.
My point is if you overlay the curve of new cases since June one on top of the graph above you’re gonna see a steeper slope from the new cases. Positivity rates are going up in some places. Hospitalization rates are going up in some places dramatically and there’s another lag there that’s going to start showing up next week. And still another lag before we see death counts rise.
