I agree with all of that. The only reason I picked two data points was to


be fair to the "concern side" of the argument by picking the highest point from April for positive tests (which happens to also coincide with the high point in testing). I try to always look at this on a 7 day moving average basis which takes out the daily noise and includes all 7 days of the the week to eliminate any daily "seasonality" (i.e weekends are always lower).

When you look at it on that basis, tests are up 6 fold and positive tests as a % of total tests are WAY down (from ~20% in early April to ~7% now). But yes, the positive rates have increased from the 4.5% to 5% range in early June to 7% now which is concerning. But not remotely comparable to early April.
