I’m partial to the 1984 Peach Bowl. Hoos 27-24 over Purdue.

Right after I graduated, our first ever bowl win. Quite the turnaround from the dark Bestwick days that greeted me in the fall of 1980. Somewhere I think I still have one of those commemorative coke bottles with the 1984 season memorialized on it.

Yeeesh. I just admitted that I was getting organized to go to college exactly 40 years ago. How the hell did that happen?

That 1995 game features one of those classic hoo 2nd half collapses that I don’t think I need to see today. Maybe I’ll just tune in for the last 50 seconds or so.
