Look at the two trends and tell me. NY and FL spiked similarly in

confirmed cases. Over a 5 week period, you don't se a family sizable divergence in deaths between NY and FL.

Put away your knee-jerk hysteria and knee-jerk opposition to anything associated with a republican administration for a second. The two situations are not remotely comparable. It's now been 6 weeks since cases started spiking in florida. Deaths have gone up, but not remotely anything like in NY. within 4 weeks of cases increasing in NY, the weekly deaths were 12x higher than they are in FL 6 weeks after the increase in cases.
