I somewhat agree... but it's certainly better news than a bunch of 80 year

olds being infected. But at some point, people have to take responsibility for themselves. The younger people have been totally ignoring the warnings and guidance to wear masks, maintain social distance, and have been getting together in mass gatherings. Should the gov't have slowed the reopening? In hindsight, I would have certainly not reopened bars and would have had severe restrictions on indoor dining... but young people went out and pretended there was no pandemic, and got infected. The blame for the spike in infections is mostly on people who choose to ignore the warnings and guidance... not the government. Hopefully the long term health impacts are not a big deal.
