The ACLU has their own agenda, and it is probably more aligned with your
position (unlimited free speech with little to no restriction). One problem, however, is that no state actor is in the case, so free speech is not really at issue to my way of thinking.
The main problem is that this is a contractual issue, not a free speech issue, despite how it is being spun by right wing pundits. Nothing wrong with that (it is their own free speech, after all) but it makes sense to analyze all of the party's intentions.
