Well sure. It would be unethical to withhold an effective treatment

of a deadly virus once the initial effectiveness was shown. The "placebo" group is maintained by default for everyone in the world not getting the vaccine.

And there is all kinds of real-world data from the over 9,000,000,000 doses that have been given that show the effectiveness of the vaccine. Pretending that there's some lack of data proving the efficacy is so fucking dumb.
