Yes, it may take a little more effort to get to the county office, DMV, etc. in Rural Bumfuk County, than it would in a city, but those are also the voters more likely to already have drivers licenses (since public transport isn't an option), are used to having to make more effort to get to the grocery store, doctor's office, etc, and would represent a very tiny number of voters.

I don't have an issue with early voting in general, although I do think almost 2 mos early a we have here in VA is too much. If you want to vote in Sept, I may think it's wrong, but I'm not losing sleep over folks doing it. But at some point, with this, the amount of monitored drop boxes, and with access to ID's, you do have to balance the cost of doing so with the benefit of "convenience" to the voters.

We survived just fine with 99% of voting being done on election day at the polls for many decades. I don't think it's unrealistic to expect voters to expound even a mere fraction of that effort to get an ID and vote otherwise.
