My point about gerrymandering is not partisan. Dems absolutely tend to do

It when they have control. We in NY effectively voted to end it here, and rumor has it (probably a bit more than just rumor) that now that the dems control the state assembly and senate (since ‘18 for the first time in 10 years), they intend to find a way around that vote from several years ago.

Dems do it when they can. I’ve always thought districting could be done most fairly via an algorithm, but many disagree - I’ve gotten pushback on the concept here.
