Come on. They think they are "entitled" to that seat because they can.

They just cleaned the dems clocks at every level of govt last election. Of course they will nominate a conservative. From everything I can glean, it could be much worse. You think the dems would be different?

The complaint with the repubs should be about their abdication of the Constitutional responsibility to at least consider the O admin nominee. They just made up some nonsense about the last year of a 2 year term. But in truth they did not think they were entitled to anything with that. They took a calculated risk, because if Hill had won (and I bet most repubs expected that on Election Day eve), she probably would have come with someone more lefty than Garland was. That calculated risk produced divdends - we'll never know how many repubs voted for Trump over their own nausea because of the SC.

Dems need to wise up and spend no political capital on this. Too many other things that are far more important.
