Actually the cost of coverage for a 64 year old who is earning


(if I understand correctly) ~$30K is going to go up from around $1700 to around $14000.

So the working but low-wage elderly are gonna probably do without health insurance; that's half that hypothetical senior's income.

Demographically, that person is likely to have been a Trump voter BTW.

OTOH if I understood correctly the 64 year-old who is making $75K will be a little better off, premium-wise after the tax credit, under Trumpcare as he/she is under Obamacare, where he/she got no subsidy. What I don't know is how the coverage compares for that person.
