Okay. Well then we'll stay on the path we're on.

That's how it happens - everyone acting like 2 year olds, saying "oh yeah! Well they did it first!"

When I was a kid the lesson was it didn't matter if somebody did it first (obviously self defense issues aside). What you are talking about is escalation. I'm talking about de-escalation. I understand that we're seeing things like the Berkeley intolerance over conservative speech, and this, because of what happened in the last election. The job of our elite universities should be to teach another way.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Mike Pence's feelings. Mike'll be fine. But if our upcoming adult generation disengages, the country may well not be.

I'd be quite happy to revisit civics 101 if it will prevent that, even if you'd rather just stick your tongue out instead.
