I absolutely do not believe the government should step in to

prevent market failure. I simply don't believe that is a proper role of government which is, in my opinion, to protect and defend the rights of the individual. Protecting and defending the rights of the individual does include, though, defending against fraud and coercion.

As for the discrimination, I do believe that public accommodation laws are wrong as they, in my opinion, violate the freedom of association (and non-association). To say that I have a "right" to do business with you is to say that I have a "right" to force you into an agreement into which you do not wish enter. I simply don't believe that is a "right" as it is based on coercion. That is not to say that I agree with discrimination...I don't. Should business owners be allowed to discriminate? Sure. Would I patronize such businesses? No...and I doubt you would either based on your posts. It is not law that would make you and I make such a decision, it is own morality and conscience.
