What's this?

It is self discrediting because the basis is beyond vague.

I know that it is popular among the so called alt-right crowd and on Breitbart, but what credible think tanks are proponents of the Deep State theory as it relates to US/Russian relations?

I hope there is more to it than chafing between the CIA and the Pentagon. That's nothing new, and most with even a simplistic understanding of that relationship would find it a challenge to determine who wears the white hats among them.
