We've seen numerous dramatic technology shifts like this (piston - jet engines, vinyl records - CDs, landlines - wireless) that took place far more quickly than conventional wisdom suggested. There's lots of evidence the shift to sustainable energy sources is moving more rapidly than anyone imagined even a couple of years ago. Ergo, I would not bet against 50% sustainables by '30/
