I was a Dole voter so not a Clinton backer. But I also opposed the impeachment - I personally didn't think it rose to the level of impeachable offense ("any crime" is not the same as "high crime", and the bar should be quite high to overturn an election), but I still agree with everything you said, and thought it was right for him to be disbarred.

But again, I didn't mean to argue the merits of the Clinton impeachment when I brought up Starr. I was referring to the length of time between appointment and focusing in on something to impeach over. 4 years. That's one of the favorite refrains of the right wing echo chamber, in its effort to simply manufacture talking points against the various investigations into what Russia did and with whom. "Oh it's been weeks and weeks, months even I tell ya - and they still haven't come up with anything!" Many of those same people were a lot more patient back in the 90s.
