Yeah, but eliminating income taxes altogether wouldn't change the fact that

land lines are going away, so it says nothing about any possible job creation effects.

I've attached a link (I hope) to a NYT editorial that caught my eye. It keys off of Pelosi's actual use of the word "Armageddon" to describe the tax bill. Basically, the idea is, what happens to dem credibility in 2018 when their leadership refers to something that is increasing people's net pay as Armageddon?

Which is not to say that you were employing this kind of hyperbole here. I just think all us anti-Trumpies need to be a little cautious and balanced - the benefits of this bill to voters - very directly - are likely to be evident first. Drawbacks of this bill may take a long time to show up, and will probably relate to all the unintended consequences of the rushed, reckless, sloppy approach to passing it.
