I'll own up to my errors when I was wrong. I said Parkland was different
I thought we were actually talking about gun safety measures, such as the assault weapons ban, magazine capacity limits, age restrictions, etc. I thought we had moved on from meaningless discussions of music (Marilyn Manson) and video games (Doom) that were blamed in the wake of Columbine.
20 years later and we are still talking about video games. I thought we were beyond that, but no, bring in the sideshow without addressing the problem. Instead of Doom, it's now Grand Theft Auto or Call of Duty that's to blame. As someone who has played violent video games pretty much his whole life yet has never fired a gun stronger than a BB gun, this is annoying on so many levels.
