AR 15 crowd is mostly... let's say people that I have nothing in common with. I was only questioning Matt's logic. He basically said that he played violent video games and he turned out ok, so that can't be the problem. I only turned that argument around. Lots of people that play violent video games don't shoot anybody. Lots of people with AR 15s don't shoot anybody.
Sure, we should look at gun regulation. I have no problem with a blanket ban of, say, detachable magazines. Go back to the front loading tube magazines. I think violent games are a legitimate place to look. Not as a sole cause, but as a contributing factor. As should everything from bullying to news coverage of shootings to social media. How can anybody discount video games as a contributing factor without any kind of study or evidence is beyond me. That was my only point.
