I probably didn't make my initial point clear
It was more that guns aren't necessarily in my wheelhouse, but video games are. Anyway, it's annoying that the gun that is directly related to the problem is being ignored yet the tangential issue of media violence that might be related is being brought up again.
To use your argument, guns don't kill people, people do - so don't go after the guns.
But at the same time, guns don't kill people, people who play video games who have access to guns kill people, so go after the video games but don't go after the guns or the gun access.
It makes no logical sense, yet here we are again.
