The prospect of impeachment has always been about the constitutional.......


matters of separation of powers and the rule of law. It is becoming clearer for people with eyes to see and a conscience to care that Trump doesn't give a rat's ass about any of that. Do we just shrug and hope for the best for the rest of his term, while also hoping against hope that ignoring these and likely other anti-constitutional actions will not be precedent setting for future presidents?

This man is a danger to the system for his personal benefit alone. It has functioned well for the entirety of our history. Who really cares to lie prone and allow an egotistic fool like this to potentially destroy it all? I personally think not doing something outweighs impeachment's unknowable effects on the outcome of the next congressional and presidential election.

We've done this 3 times previously and the Republic survived, but we don't know if constantly ignoring our most basic principles is survivable.
