Anecdotal evidence is always abundant; but let me focus on 1 contradiction

Canadian Health Care costs 1/2
Canadian family shells out 12,000 a year

Guess what that means. An American family is shelling out 24,000 a year. That's right. They pay half of what we pay. So if they are being socked for 12K; we are being socked for 24k.

Think about that. If you focus on 1/2 the picture, you can always get a negative view.

You want to talk costs, actually compare costs?
You can talk waits times. What are the American wait times?
You can talk about Candian coverage being less than100%. What is the American coverage %.

By the way, I noticed that the write of that slanted editorial didn't even bother to try to pretend that prescription costs were higher in Canada than in the US. Our system is that bad you can't even make is sound comparable by cherry picking data.
