The Canadian protocol of an initial under 2 minute appointment where


diagnosis and prescriptions are rarely given followed by a prolonged follow-up visit to a specialist appears to apply to both rural and urban areas. There may be some variance in wait times based on area but the average is some multiple higher than visit to a US doctor to obtain comparable medical care.

And does a nationwide system that provides more substandard wait times to rural patients over urban appear to be a viable alternative to you?
