Bolton's words and actions were very much in evidence during the

impeachment hearings. Now you have the opportunity for confirming testimony. If anything other than avoiding the truth were the point.

The best repub senators should be able to conclude is the president did in fact attempt to extort assistance for himself in the upcoming election from Ukraine using taxpayer funded aid, but we don't believe it's impeachable. Any continuation of the insistence that there is no evidence of a "quid pro quo" is a dystopian Trumpistani fantasy, too absurd to even think of as Orwellian.
